Model of the Tower Tatlin

Some time ago we dedicated an article to the espectacular structure of more than 400 meters high proposed by Vladimir Tatlin nearly 90 years ago:

In the early 20’s, barely introduced the communist regime in Russia, the sculptor Vladimir Tatlin presented an architectural project to build a huge monument to the 3rd International in the city of St. Petersburg (then known as Petergrado), which with the pass of the years has been known as the Tower Tatlin.

Full Entry: Torre Tatlin

It has recently been opened at the Royal Academy of Arts in London an exhibition that shows among other things the work of Vladimir Tatlin, including a model of the tower in question.

The huge scale of this work, together with their differences with everything built up to that time and even with everything built until this day produces that many years after being conceived it continues attracting the interest of many people.
