Scotts Tower, Singapur / Rem Koolhaas (OMA)

Singapore will give another twist to the architecture with these four Floating Torres suspended on a central frame .

It is a project undertaken by Far East Organization (the largest house promoter of Singapore) and Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) through its partners Ole Scheeren.

The 36-storey tower and 153 meters high will be placed in near the largest commercial avenue Orchard Road, specifically at the junction of Scotts Road and Cairnhill Road.

With a built area of 20,000 m2, the building will have 68 apartments of the last generation and impressive views.

The building itself appears to float because of its design in which the four apartment towers are suspended from a central trunk. Being high on the floor, the area on the base is clear and it will be used for recreational and leisure activities and entertainment.
