Crystal Island, Moscow / Norman Foster

The project named Crystal Island has been approved in Moscow. It will be situated in a peninsula of the river which name the city, near of the Andropov Avenue.

The project has been launched by the promoter Shalva Chigirinsky, who counted with the services of Sir Norman Foster to design this building, with a non conventional appearce at all.

It will have a level of 450 meters high and a total area of 2,67 millions (¡!) of square meters. Inside of all that amount of area, of course, there is space for almost everything, so the building will count among other things with hotel, offices, sports equipments, commercial and leisure center, and a giant parking.

Its construction will start during this year and its predictable that it will last for least 5 years, the magnitude of the construction is spectacular.
