San Francisco Supertall

The californian city of San Francico will count with a big skyscraper that will become the tallest building in the USA, apart from New York and Chicago.

The promotors of this project have started a restricted contest of arquitecture, and the following proposals have been presented:

Skidmore Owings & Merrill (420 m.)

Pelli Clarke Pelli (360 m)

Roger Stirk Harbour & Partners (373 m)

Actually, each project also include a low-height building (but with big floor surface), that will house a shopping center, while the tower will house a space for offices.

In a short while the elected project will be known, and, wichever it is, will change notoriously San Francisco´s skyline
