Burj Dubai. Almost the tallest building on earth

According to the announment made by a work team in the construction of the Burj Dubai, the tower could become the tallest building in the world next 21st July, when it is forecasted that it will overcome 509 meters, the current height record owned by Taipei 101.

Once finished, the building will get the world record in the four categories that the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat sets up, this is, structure, roof, antenna and occupied floor.

The calculations show that the Burj Dubai antenna will be seen from a distance of 95 km in clear days. From the viewpoint at the top of the tower the vision will reach points 80 km. far away.

The tower will continue, at least until 21st july, saturday, being the second tallest skyscraper of the world. In spite of this, it is already proud of having several records as the biggest floor number or the vertical concrete pumping record.
